Cam and Maren were each others everything until the day she left their home town with her mother, leaving Cam devastated. Seven years have passed and she’s back trying to rebuilt her life. But with Cam being her new neighbor, starting her new life might not be as smooth as she hoped.
Seeing Maren after all this time is a huge shock for Cam, especially when he meets her adorable little boy. He wants to hold on to the anger and resentment, but seeing her every day and slowly spending time with her and her son, he’s struggling with being angry. But if he wants a second chance with her, they’ll have to have move on from it and create a life that was (kinda) stole from them seven years prior.
This story was such a great read. I love his family and friends and all the commotion they bring with them. I loved that he listened to her explain her reasoning why she left the way she did and forgave her. But most of all i loved the fact that he accepted the boy like his own and vowed to move heaven and earth for both of them.
