This story will pull at your heartstrings. I love second chance romance and Lucy and Buzz deserved it for everything that happened to them. But i will say i was (more than) annoyed with Buzz. Everything she suffered before he came back and wanted to fix what he broke, could have been avoided. But then we wouldn’t have this story right?
Years passed and now they’re back in each other lives. The chemistry between them never disappeared, but neither did the hurt. Watching Lucy navigate all her big feelings while trying to protect herself was really hard to read at times.
I loved the banter and friends that added that something extra to the story. I loved how some try to put her down, but she kept coming back on top. It definitely shows its hard being a woman in a man’s world.
Now my only complaint that i have and that’s that this story could have done it with a few chapter less but that’s just my opinion. Overall as I’ve stated this story will stick with you and leave you happy to see our couple finally finding their long over due HEA.
