Evan has just been called up to the NHL. He’s celebrating when he sees Ronan Vale, his favorite rock star. The chance to talk to him is amazing and too good to pass up. There’s a connection between them but Evan is straight. A fund raiser brings them together again and Evan realizes his feelings for Ronan aren’t friendship but is he ready to take the step to romance?

There was a bit of rock staring and a bit more hockey. Enough names tossed around that I was sometimes lost. Family played a big part in the story, both good and bad.

Something felt off with the story. Possibly the fastness of Evan acceptance of being bisexual? Don’t know. I really didn’t feel the connection between them. It seemed I was outside the story looking in.

I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either. Give it a read and form your own opinion.
