I absolutely loved this family and their ranch. They work hard and love even harder. Birdie is someone you can truly look up to, and Crew is just the man to worship the ground she walks on.

This has been one of the more emotional series by Melissa that I have experienced thus far, and that’s saying something because the amount of tears I have shed experiencing her stories would probably fill an ocean! This story almost broke me in the best of ways!
There is just so much life in these pages that it is staggering. This isn’t an easy story. It’s not easy on our MMC and it’s not easy on our FMC. It’s not easy on the family and it’s not easy on the reader. It’s also one of the most profoundly beautiful stories of redemption I have read in a long while. It obviously shouldn’t be easy. I just love it when Melissa pulls out all the stops for a story and delivers beautifully!
At its core, this is a romance journey between two unlikely people because of circumstances that happened in the past, not because they don’t “fit” together. Make sense? So now it becomes a story about choices, about family, about forgiveness, about atonement, and about big love. No one writes big love like Melissa Foster. Believe it.
I loved every moment of Birdie and Crew’s journey. Every single one. Even the ones that made me twitch! Everything was necessary. Nothing was “dramatic” (iykyk) and it all made sense. Birdie’s personality sparked off the pages as it has been since the beginning of this series and I am just so darn happy she has found the one in Crew!
