Declan and Emma have known each other since they were kids. She left and had a whole life, while he stay home regretting never saying anything about his crush to her. Now she back, widowed and trouble is right behind her, trying to drag her down.

Declan is determined to help her get back on her feet. With his calm demeanor and silent love he staying by her side, helping her see that she is allowed to live again. Emma never thought she’d be back in her home town let alone falling for Declan once again. But life has a way of giving you a second chance and when danger comes too close, all bets are off.

This was light (despite having suspense tone to it) and sweet read and it’s getting a 3,5* rating today.
