This book was quiet an emotional rollacoster. Callaway, Alberto, and Vesper (I’m not sure how I feel about this name but OK) go from sweet teenage friendship into something confusing and impossible to ignore. Feelings wake up slowly, lines start to blur, and nothing feels simple ever again.
Callaway and Alberto were avoiding the truth of everything that almost ruined them for good. Asking her to choose between them and the pain that that brought, was really difficult to read on my end. The pain they felt with the lose of something precious was purring out of the pages. Her ability to stand by their side despite the rift made me love her even more.
The ending brought some sort of satisfaction because there was no (big) drama – just them realizing that enough time was lost and they finally have a chance at HEA.
