Now this was such a cute and beautiful read. Henrik is still struggling to come to terms that being a hockey player is not in the cards for him. He moved to Kentbury to try and find his new meaning. And when his first love comes to town, he knows life gave him what he need the most and that his Lou-Lou.
Lou’s life imploded when he husband divorced her and took her kids. She’s left with (almost) nothing and when her brother suggests that she comes to Kentbury to regroup, she doesn’t expect that her life is about to change once again only this time for the best. Spending time with her childhood crush and learning that he’s loved her since they were teens, brings her peace and strength to fight both for their love and her kids.
I must say that the ending for this book is probably one of my favorites by Claudia Burgoa so far. The whole story was sweet and left me with a big smile on my face.
