LISTEN, this is an exceptional story. Also, so is this series. Obviously, MC romances aren’t for everyone but if you’re into them, you need to be reading the Twisted Kings MC series. (from the beginning) It has been exceptionally built, and I am looking forward to never ending my journey with them, although I am sure Eva will end it at some point. *sad face*
Chaos and Willa have history. all kinds of history, some good and some not so good. They’ve known each other since they were kids and that comes with a level of familiarity all on their own. When we are children, we don’t have walls or pretense. We just are and we had enough flashbacks to their relationship as kids to understand their history and the bond it created. They may not have seen each other in over a decade and separated in not the best of terms, but that childhood bond is in there somewhere and that’s the beginning of Willa & Chaos, today. I was up in my feelings for a lot of this story. The growth these two underwent to be what they needed to be to each other was heart-pounding to me.
Their story is etched in chaos (no pun intended) but also trueness and steadiness. Their chemistry was palpable from the beginning and once they got “over it” they burned hotter than the sun! The story was exciting and really grabs you. I couldn’t wait for each plot point/circumstance to develop to see what was next!
I really like the way Eva develops her stories and her characters. I have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to her backlist but for now, I’m starting to listen to this series on audio and it is fire! (this one credit per month is beginning to annoy me LOL)

Chaos is book five in the Twisted Kings MC series. This is a motorcycle romance including the following tropes: ex‑boyfriend’s brother, second chance, and degradation kink.
This story centers on Chaos, aka Dean. He lives up to his road name through and through; fearless, strong, unfiltered, and wild, but in the most protective, honest, and loyal way. Chaos doesn’t do anything halfway; he’s always all in, even when his past comes back to haunt him.
Willa is a woman on a mission. She’s done letting people control her life. She’s finally ready to take back her power, and in doing so, she grows into a sassy, fiery, take no crap heroine. She’s ready to face both her past and her future head‑on and reclaim herself.
I think this may be the best book in the series. The character growth between Chaos and Willa was undeniable, and their chemistry was pure fire. Seeing Chaos vulnerable, and understanding what made him the man he is today, was palpable. Simmons seamlessly flows between their past and present so we can see the full scope of their history together, and that history is steeped in emotional trauma. Their story blends dark elements, spice, angst, violence, strong supporting characters, and several plot twists; especially the one at the end that leaves you desperate for the next book.
