Following a white rabbit into an abandoned warehouse for a rave might of been a mistake, but Xavi is confident enough to know he can handle anything. Well maybe not Damon, the guy he becomes entranced with. Forced to trust each other when they are kidnapped just escalates their attraction.
I like how Xavi puts all his trust into his cousins/brothers. Their give and take is sometimes funny, often bloody, and always supportive. Damon’s trust in Xavi even when he didn’t know him was unusual, a good basis for their relationship. Even Xavi’s bloodthirsty parts didn’t faze Damon much. Xavi and Damon’s story was good, although at times it did feel superficial.
I did have a good idea of who the bad guy was so not much mystery there.
I thought this book was marginally better than the third book. Hence the better rating.
There are a lot of relationships to keep track of in this series. Having read all the books. I’ve got a pretty good understanding of them. But they definitely need to be read in order.

A few facts about me; I’m a veteran, I’m Canadian, and I love books! I’ve been writing my own stories since I was eight and wrote my first novel at sixteen.
