When it comes to age-gap taboo, K Webster is the author I am going to turn to first. That’s been the case for almost a decade, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. That being said, sometimes, she doesn’t quite hit the “edgy” mark that I have come to expect from her with her “taboo treats”. This is one of those times. The story was … plain? UGH, I don’t know what word to use but it didn’t have that edgy spark that she normally delivers. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this and it was well written for a fast-paced-insta story, but … *sigh*
It’s been a minute since I’ve read any story by Kristi and maybe this is how she writes her “treats” now. I don’t know, but even if she has “grown”, the title along for this story “screams” edgy and it just wasn’t there.
So, on to the next “treat” and see how that goes!
