Every time I pick up a Clara Pines book, I’m always surprised by just how much I enjoy her (clean) stories. I was hooked from the start. Our boy Ransom is a single dad who’s shocked when life brings the one who got away back into his orbit. He sees this as his chance to apologize—and maybe, just maybe, he’s hoping for another shot at love with Hailey. I absolutely loved him and how badly he wanted his second chance. I was definitely his number one fan.
Reading this story had me smiling from ear to ear, and I was rooting for our lovebirds to let go of the past and step into the future together. The side characters add an extra layer to the series with each book, and I’m already looking forward to seeing what Clara Pines has in store for me next.
