As usual when reading Claudia Burgoa, I had to get into the story, but by the 4th chapter, I was all in. These two couldn’t be more different even if they tried. But when family starts pushing, it’s time to push back in the form of fake dating your neighbor.
Spending time with each other, they both discover layers beneath the grumpy (Soren) or sunshine (Winnie) exterior, which slowly but surely leads them to love. I love a story with a good slow burn, great banter, and let’s not forget the chemistry. This one was one of the best by Claudia Burgoa.
I mean, what’s not to like about neighbors helping each other out, right? If you love fake dating, grump vs. sunshine, with added Christmas magic, this story is for you.
