The Trust We Broke is book five in the Iron Outlaws MC Colorado Series. This is a second chance, enemies to lovers, MC romance. This story focused on Grudge a.k.a. Zach and Lucy.
Throughout the series Grudge has been part of the backbone to the club, always willing and ready to serve the club along side his brothers. He was born and raised in the life so it’s in his blood at this point.
Lucy was strong, independent and could be stubborn. She picked her battles but generally didn’t take crap from anyone, except maybe her parents. She was mostly selfless and always willing to help others.
This story had a lot more spice with a few different kinks. There was a mix of violence, action, angst, and plot twists. The chemistry between Grudge and Lucy was palpable, even when they were at odds they were explosive. A small cameo from the National MC crew builds a foundation into the next story in the series.

Scarlett Cole is a contemporary romance author that calls both Toronto, Canada and Manchester, England home. A born city dweller, she periodically quashes the urge to live in the country by hiking up a mountain to remind herself that living away from people would terrify the pants off her.
