This story was about two people rediscovering each other. Shep has been misunderstood his whole life. He’s trying to be the man everyone expects him to be, but his brain is wired differently and it’s an everyday struggle.
But when Kinsley and her adorable daughter need help, he offers it without a single thought because he’s been having feelings for the hot single mom for a while now and he sees this as his chance to prove to her and everyone else that he’s not a screw-up. Kinsley had an idea what kind of man Shep is, but living with him and seeing how he treats her girl, she starts seeing him for what he really is – an incredible man.
This slow-burn is full of chemistry, cozy scenes, and emotional depth that will make your heart sing for them to end up together.
