Gabriel is book four in the series, Legacy of Heathens. This is a second generation, reverse kidnapping, mafia romance. This book has dark themes and elements so read your trigger warnings. For maximum enjoyment I recommend reading the first generation of books.
It is so wild to read about Gabriel all grown up. He’s always been sweet and that didn’t change with age. I would not describe Gabriel as Alpha, he’s probably the least alpha out of all Eva’s male characters. But his protectiveness for his family and friends grew even stronger with age and he will throw down when needed. He’s also patient, kind, and understanding. He’s an all around good guy even being a mafia man.
Amara has grown into such a strong woman you’d have never known the illness and chaos that she lived through during her younger years. With having three solid and powerful parents it’s really no surprise that she grew up to be a fierce and selfless protector and fighter.
This was a lengthy book and contained all the things you’d expect; violence, angst, suspense, plot twists, humor, spice, action, and a happily ever after. We will 100% be seeing more of Gabriel and Amara with the tangled web that has now been spun by their family members. It’s going to be hard waiting patiently for a whole year to get the answers to so many questions that were left open.
