Seattle Blades Book 4

What to expect:
🖤Hockey Romance
🖤Spicy
🖤Neurodivergent Rep

Data. Numbers. Facts.

That’s what I know.

I’m not great with relationships or men. I don’t even date. My entire sexual experience can be reduced to three nights of trauma.

Imagine my surprise when one of hockey’s best players with the worst reputation takes interest in geeky old me.

Tyson Murphy isn’t what I need in my life. He’s hung up on his ex-girlfriend and runs through women like he runs down opponents on the ice. The last thing he needs is a woman who is terrified of intimacy.

The last thing I want is to be just another puck in his net.

We’re oil and water. Order and chaos. Logic and emotion. We shouldn’t mix.

So why won’t he stop pursuing me?

And why do I suddenly crave the one thing I’ve avoided my whole adult life?

Love.

Whirlwind is book four in the Seattle Blades Series and is a hockey sports romance. The main characters are Tyson Murphy and Kit Ashcroft. For maximum enjoyment I recommend starting at book one in the series.

Tyson and Kit are acquaintances that happen to become neighbors. Kit was intelligent, fun, independent but at the same time she is also anti-social. She has a lot of childhood trauma bottled up so that contributes to her anxiety and anti-social nature.

Tyson is dealing with a lot of new. New team, new town, new living quarters, etc. He’s also still recovering from his “break-up” with Isla and the poor decisions he made stemming from that. He has a heart of gold and when he’s all in he means it.

Their journey was entertaining, easy to read, and flowed at a good pace. The plot had a mix of angst, humor, drama, and spice. This had Rhyme’s known style of being emotionally charged, so make sure to read trigger warnings.
