Jack and Allie have been dancing around each other for a while now. Everyone and their dog want them to be together, but Jack’s ex has left her mark on him that he cannot shake. He’s convinced that Allie deserves someone better than him. What he doesn’t realize is that she knows no one can measure up to him. If nothing else, the way he took her teen boy under his wing and helped him when he needed a father figure the most, is more than enough reason for her to love him.
But after years of pining, the restraints are off, and one taste proves that they are perfect in every way for each other. Now if only her past would let her be happy. But Jack is determined to make sure she will never feel anything other than love and happiness in his arms. The book will hit you straight in the feels. I mean, who doesn’t love a good man who’s dirty behind closed doors, am I right? This was (of course) read in one sitting and I highly recommend this book as your next summer read.
