Cooper and Ivy have known each other for a few years now. There was always an attraction between them, but they never acted on it—until one night, something shifted, and they ended up tangled in each other.
But Ivy has her walls up high, and she’s determined to keep them that way. Cooper has finally had a taste of what it’s like to be with her, and he’s not about to let her go so easily.
He sets out to prove that he’s different from any other man she’s known. Ivy remains guarded, but slowly she begins to let him in. And when life throws them the ultimate curve-ball, nothing will ever be the same again.
I loved Cooper and the way he pushed her without ever overstepping. Ivy had been deeply hurt before, and his calmness and patience made this book a perfect summer read.
