Atone is book three in the series Sigma Sin. This is a dark, secret society, college romance. READ YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! This cannot be stressed enough for this series!
Alex is calculating, immoral, dangerous, and lethal. Even with all his psycho tendencies he still managed to be sweet, tender, and sometimes swooney with Mila. I think Mila may be the softie in the girl group. She seems to find the good in a sea of bad. We learn her vulnerabilities and insecurities, but we also see her strength and bravery come to the forefront. She will throw down and defend all those she cares about to the end.
Similar to the previous books in the series, there’s violence, angst, a slew of mental health issues, betrayal, plot twists and lots more insanity. You can’t help but be sucked into the crazy. It’s fast paced and keeps you guessing. There’s so much more to uncover, especially about the Lancaster’s and September can’t come fast enough to find out the rest in the series finale.
Eva Simmons writes dark and dreamy romance with complex heroines and broken, dirty-talking bad boys who fall hard for them.
