This story is about Lori, an American who has come to Ireland to claim her inheritance. Her life has been in turmoil, and she’s looking for a fresh start.
However, she wasn’t prepared for Patrick, who is anything but welcoming. He believes she tricked his mother to get the mansion and is not pleased with her. They butt heads, but the chemistry is undeniable, and both are fighting it.
If you’re following my reviews, you know I’m not a huge fan of cliffhangers. Somehow, I’m okay with this one. I have a ton of questions that need answers, and I can’t wait to get my hands on book two in this duet.
