Alder and Daisy have a past that is not so pretty. She left him when she realized he was never going to put her first or change, for that matter. Life was not easy for her when they split up. Now, she has a little girl to think about, so making rash decisions is not on the menu. But when the world starts to crumble beneath her feet and Alder comes back with an offer that would be beneficial to both of them, she reluctantly says yes. I mean, what could possibly happen in a year, right?
Alder never recovered when she left. He almost strayed too deep but managed to pull his head out of his behind and started doing things to make her proud of him. When she says yes to his plan, he feels like all his prayers have been answered. But convincing her he’s a changed man might take more than he bargained for.
When life gives you a second chance, you go in full speed and stop at nothing until you get to your HEA, and Alder was a man on a mission to do just that.
