Rhett and Evie have been in each other’s lives for a long time. He’s her brother’s best friend, and she is off-limits to him. But when life throws them together by his offering (due to her brother’s request) to be roommates, ignoring the chemistry they share becomes almost impossible. When they finally give in, feelings that were hidden for a long time come to the surface, and trying to hide them becomes too much.
I loved the story-line with the adorable puppy thrown into the mix. Both main characters were very likable. Rhett, with his Southern charm, and Evie, with her determination to help kids with difficulties that come with school, were perfect for each other. I loved the way they found their HEA.
