Kian and Cadie had an instant connection. Something about each other spoke to them, and pretending they were just friends soon became impossible. But Cadie is hiding a big secret, and keeping it under wraps is becoming harder and harder with each day she spends in Kian’s company.
However, secrets have a way of coming out, and when hers is revealed, Kian promises to keep her safe by his side.
I finished this book a few days ago and had to sleep on it to gather my thoughts. Here’s what I’ve come up with: the story has its ups and downs. Just when it got exciting, it would slow down a bit for me. I also felt that the ending, while funny, was a bit all over the place, and it left me feeling unsatisfied.
The story wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t wowed by it. With that said, I’m giving it a light 4-star rating. I’m really excited, though, to see if her best friend gets along with Kian’s mysterious baby brother.
