I have no words for Carys and Gannon. These two were perfect in every sense of the word. Both have baggage that shaped them and are not looking for a HEA. But when she’s given a chance to put her life on the right track, she takes it and promises herself to stay away from Gannon and the electric chemistry they shared.
However, keeping that promise turns out to be harder than they both thought it would be, and from the first moment they touched, all bets are off. Seeing the slow and steady growth of their feelings for one another was the icing on the delicious cake that these two make.
I loved the banter between them and his whole family, and I loved the protectiveness they showed for each other when their pasts tried to confront them. These two are hands down my favorite couple in the series.

When I tell you that I cannot wait for this story to be in my ears, I am downplaying it! The quick wit and banter had me from the very beginning. I had a good time reading this story and I couldn’t wait to turn the pages. The chemistry between Gannon & Carys wasn’t just sexual in nature. They had chemistry as friends and as partners. All of their interactions had a spark, and I just loved it. It made me happy all the way thru. Their story wasn’t a good time every minute, because reasons (read the book lol), but even when it wasn’t, it was still a joy to be in the story.
The worlds that Adriana continues to create are always so full of heart and hope that you just can’t help but fall in love. The stories are almost always interconnected in some way because family is one of the main components and that’s the best of things. In her worlds, you don’t just get the story of a sibling, for example, and move on to the next. No, they keep reappearing in other stories, and they are very much a part of each other’s lives. That’s what makes the worlds that she creates so attractive to me. I come from a large family and when something happens to one, you had better believe we are all up in it. Feel me?
