I’m not a huge fan of slow burns, but this was paced just right. Keane and Julianne both have past that shaped them into who there are. Both refuse to speak about it until they stumble into each others lives.
My heart broke for Keane. His life is completely transform in an instant for him and he’s trying is best to make it work. He decision to help Julianne and her niece brought him peace he didn’t know he needed and seeing their feeling grow made this story all the more enjoyable to read.
