You know i’ll start this review by saying men are really silly. I’ve been reading romance for a decade now and any time there’s a MC like our boy Nathan, I can’t help but want to smack the living light out of him. The whole pushing the one away, being rude or mean to her, not to mention other women, is slowing getting on my nervous. But then they do 180 and you can’t help but fall for the guy and start rooting like crazy for him to get the girl. And when he finally got her, he’ll move heaven and earth to make sure she’s happy and loved.
Haven has loved Nathan what feels her whole life, but she never knew the full length of his feelings for her. But when a freak storm happens and she’s stranded in his house, something shifts and soon they’re confessing all kind of feelings and trying to work out all the things they did and said over the years.
This story broke my heart for Haven. She deserved all the happiness in the world and to see her get what she wanted as a little girl, put my heart at ease.
