How lucky was I that the audiobook for the first book in this series, Between Never & Forever, went on sale right before this ALC landed in my BF library?! Ya’ll know how I am about series … yeah, I was giddy! AND, it turned out to be an epic listening experience for me! #winning But I’m here to focus on Of Heartbreak and Harmony, so let’s get to it!

I discovered Brit Benson with this epic ride and there is no looking back for me now! There are very few authors that can capture my entire attention for 28 listening hours and me be twitching to listen to more but she did it! I am seriously impressed.

This story is emotionally driven and has a whole lot of #RealLife circumstances that did all kinds of one-two punches to my heart and my soul, and I loved every minute. I felt every single circumstance happening in the story, not just because of how well the story is written but the narration of the story was flawless. 🎤Stephen Dexter & Stella Hunter🎤 shinned like brilliant stars in this duet narration and I just could not get enough.

This is one of those stories that even when you don’t like what’s happening, you are rooting for the characters. I can’t even come up with the last time a story hit me this hard, but I know there are authors out there that have impressed me just as much. Right now though, I can’t think of a single one. Maybe it was the fact that I listened to the story that everything just seemed so magnified, I don’t know but I felt life happening while I listened and that’s rare.

This is a powerful, no holds barred, love story with an emotional pull that will grab you by the throat and almost not allow you to breath. I highly recommend that you read Between Never & Forever before you read this journey. Seriously, read it first.
