Royal and Easton ride bulls for a living. A dangerous and deadly occupation. Add in their secret attraction to each other and their lives are in constant flux. They soon discover fighting their attraction is impossible and that feeling just may be what they need to survive. There is something in the arena that can’t be real, shouldn’t be there, and is terrifying.
I liked that they didn’t realize that they were in love with each other. The slow burn was very effective in learning about the two of them. Easton’s thoughts while riding a killer bull should of been distracting but only gave more insight to his character. Marcel (their father figure) was funny and added a bit of lightness to the story.
The explanation of certain fairytales was just what the story needed to make the demon real. Definitely not bedtime stories.
