Canyon ( I love the name) and Saylor have been in each other’s lives for a few years now. She’s a supermodel turned artis and a gallery owner, who is super busy and not looking for a committed relationship quite yet. Canyon is a super star hockey player that is anti-relationship for all intent and purposes. He knows his lifestyle is not for the light-hearted and he doesn’t put someone through heartbreak if can prevent it.
When he rescues Saylor from a terrible date they agree to start sort of friends with benefits. But soon their connection is too strong to deny it and just as they start to agree to move to something more, Canyon’s life is turned upside down with having to take care of his pre-teen niece. Between her and her stalker, life is not going the way they want it to. But finding someone special is hard and once they resolve Saylor’s issues, they vow that nothing is ever coming between them again.
