ABOUT THE BOOK:

Zara
The day I picked out my wedding dress is the day I found out my fiancé was cheating on me.
After that, I needed an escape.
A distraction to take my mind off what a mess my life was.
It was supposed to be a one-night thing.
Then it turned into more.
We knew going in that it was for two weeks.
Then, two pink lines changed everything.

Gabriel
I thought I had the perfect life.
I had an amazing son, and I was running the family bar.
But all that changed the day she walked in.
She was gorgeous and funny all wrapped into one.
It was temporary, we both knew that.
She’s a city girl. I’m a cowboy.
But I fell in love with her and let her go all at the same time.
Now she’s back and pregnant with my baby.
It’s time to show her she was meant for me.

EXCERPT

“On a scale of one to ten—” he says, and he’s so close I can feel his breath on me. My chest moves up and down as my fingers tingle on his pecs.

“Ten,” I answer, not knowing what the rest of the question is.

“How drunk are you?” The question makes me laugh.

“Oh.” I shake my head. “Two.” I lift my hand from his hard chest but quickly move it back. “Maybe three. Definitely not a four.”

“What did you think I was going to ask you?” His hands come up to hold my hips, and I hate it’s not brighter so I can see his eyes.

“I thought you were going to ask me on a scale of one to ten, how much do you want me to kiss you right now?” I want to kick my own ass for admitting that. What the hell was in that drink, truth serum?

“And you answered ten, Zara?” The softness of his voice makes shivers run through me.

“I did, Gabriel.” I use his name, taking a step closer to him, squishing my hand between us. “I sure did.”

Meant for Gabriel by Natasha Madison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Zara’s world is turned upside down in what should’ve been the happiest period in her life. Little did she know that it was all smoke and mirrors. She shaken when she finds her fiance in bed with another woman. Desperate for an escape from reality to regroup, and what better way to do that than going to the South. Sofia offers her home to her and she is more than willing to go. And with a little push from her cuisine Zoe to go out, she ends the night with a gorgeous man who rocks her world. But come morning she has some regrets and leave him without a goodbye.

Gabriel is smitten at first glance. Zara has rocked his world and he woke up from their night to find her gone. He’s bummed but what he didn’t expect was to have Zara delivered to him on a plate from Sofia. She puts up a cute fight but the attraction wins every time and soon feelings start to grow. But she’s going back to NY and he can’t leave his son behind. But life has a cute surprise in store for our love birds and soon they will live out all their wildest fantasies together as a family.

I got to say it was fun seeing Victor loose his cool for a moment. I love that man with all my heart and it was so fun seeing him and Zoe in action to protect their daughter. Not that she needed it with Gabriel by her side. The family keeps growing and i’m looking forward to the start of the new series in the fall.
