Wade isn’t willing to shatter either of theirs in a race against time that could see Riordan torn from him forever.

Wade met an intriguing man (?) at a wedding and neglected to get his number. He goes to Boston to help the pack there and the same intriguing man turns up. Riordan is a selkie and needs to help his sister find her stolen seal skin. He doesn’t have time to be interested in Wade. What he doesn’t know is that Wade has already mentally added Riordan to his hoard. He won’t know which side is up when Wade gets his way.

It’s really nice to see one of my all time favorite characters get his own book and his own man. I’ve enjoyed Wade’s snark from his first appearance in the Soulbond series. The sense of family is just as strong here as in those books.

Wade’s appetite is legendary and endless. Half the fun with his character is people reacting to his appetite. Not sure I’d call the book instalove, these are magical beings after all. They don’t do anything by halves.

An epic battle, a sweet love story, unusual alliances, enough food to keep Wade happy, and really neat new characters (some monsters come along for the ride) highlight this story.
