Zack and Courtney have been in each other’s lives forever. He’s her brothers best friend and she just got back home after ending an abusive relationship.
She and her adorable son are pushing forward trying to be happy. When they see each other again sparks fly and soon they’re spending time together trying to see if this could be something more.
What I absolutely loved about this story is the fact that there was any drama. Zack has a great relationship with his ex, so merging their families was effortless.
This was read in one sitting and left me with a huge smile on my face. The transition from friends to something more was easy, with the support of her brother and his ex. I loved the fact that they were not rushing but still got their HEA.
