The Souls We Claim is book seven in the Iron Outlaws MC Series. This is an age gap romance with a bit of daddy dom mixed in. This story focused on Halo and Arianne with their journey starting out complicated and chaotic. Be sure to read any triggers just in case.
Halo is a no bull $hit and blunt kind of guy. He thrives on being in control and he’s fierce, loyal, and can be very stubborn. He’s very direct when he speaks but still knows how to maintain a level of comfort with his approach and honesty. He’s a natural protector and a good man to have on your side.
Arianne is brave and courageous. She’s a survivor and has been through a lot in a short amount of time. Fortunately for her, she was able to find happiness after dealing with a tragic loss. Once she was able to come out of her shell she was really fun, amusing, and a natural care giver.
The storyline was angsty, violent, full of spice, witty and funny banter, plot twists, and so much more! I have to say I’m not a huge fan of daddy dom tropes but this one was done pretty tastefully and it wasn’t over done so it wasn’t off putting. I don’t know how Cole does it but the series just keeps on getting better and better and I’m always left with the biggest book hangover. It’s hands down one of the best series I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to see where the Switch’s book leads and I’m still hopeful a certain Irishman will get his own book.
