I’m not sure what I expected from this story but it would seem that I was not prepared for Dax Cove. That man was as stoic as they come but when he met his daughter and with the help of Eira, he began to blossom Infront of our eyes. There was so much more than meets the eye and I fell for him pretty early on.
Now let’s talk about our Mary Poppins also known in this book as Eira. That woman was such a special soul. Her early life was no picking in the park but she didn’t let that get her down. She was there for her younger sibling and for Dax and Guinevere. She needed them as much as they needed her. And when she and Dax finally gave into the attraction I was so happy for both of them, because after everything they deserved to find happiness.
