For a VERY short story this was such a fun read. I loved how open they were with each other and despite Vivian being quite young, she understood him better than he thought possible. Gunnar felt attraction towards Vivian for the moment he set his eyes on her and after their night together, he was fighting with himself wanting to leave her alone so she could find someone better, but leaving turns out not to be the easiest things to do.
If I love the sexy times, I love the vulnerable moments more. And when you have a puppy named Taco in the mix, you get a huge smile on your face when the words THE END come.

Excellent addition to the Royal Protectors series, one of my favorites by Kate Mizera!! It was such a delight but also carried with it a punch that was perfect for this couple!
