My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Grim is book one in a new chapter of Satan’s Fury MC, this is Little Rock’s series. This book had a mix of violence, angst, and grit you can expect from a Satan’s Fury book. There was also a few small plot twists and dark elements.
I liked the story line and the unpredictability of the plot. Grim is what you would expect from a MC biker; alpha, moody, protective, fierce, and often times stoic and less affectionate. Jenna was a survivor and she never quite. I found that admirable. But I also found that she was a little too non-chalant about some events that take place, like she shut down mentally and ignored a lot of things.
With that said, I liked the main characters individually, but I had a hard time liking these two as a couple. I thought their relationship would grow on me, but I didn’t really feel any sparks or chemistry between them. Especially in the epilogue.
Overall I’d rate this a 3.5 as it’s an enjoyable and easy read with an exciting start to a new series. I’m looking forward to getting to know the rest of the Little Rock crew, specifically Skid.
