Reign of a Billionaire is book four of the Billionaire Kings Series. This is a second chance at love, mafia-ish romance. The story focuses on Kingston Ashford and Louisa Volkov. Although this story can be read as a standalone, I recommend starting at book for better enjoyment.
You can expect Kingston to be vengeful, bitter, strong, loyal, stubborn, and alpha. One thing that is definite about him is that he is fearless. He really had patience where it counted. Louisa was underestimated. She was strong, passionate, stubborn, sassy, and determined. These two had explosive chemistry and together could be a powerhouse against their enemies.
Overall, this was entertaining and easy to read. Albeit predictable, their journey was loaded with angst, violence (read your trigger warnings), and was more mafia then billionaire. Kingston is interconnected to many of Eva’s mafia stories. I would have liked to see Kingston reconnect with his siblings more. There are tons of bread crumbs through out the book. There were a lot of things left unsettled when it came to Louisa and her family so I’m hoping we get more closure on that in future books.
