Val & Ryan were high school sweethearts, but unfortunately, their timing wasn’t right. Now, it’s 20+ years later and … maybe?
My absolute favorite of favorites is when authors write realistic fiction and that’s exactly what Kacey wrote. This story, every single aspect of it, could and does happen to real people every day. This story just felt right to me. It wasn’t over the top dramatic nor was it overly comedic. It just was *shrug* and it just felt real and relatable and just every-day to me.
This isn’t my first experience with Kacey’s writing, so I knew the story would be well written, but I wasn’t expecting how touching it would be. The growth and development of the relationships and the induvial characters left no room for critique. They were absolutely perfectly done. I really enjoyed this story and also the narrators. I’ve had very little experience listening to Holly Warren or Robert Hatchet but they did a wonderful life bringing this story to life and I am looking forward to putting more of their narrations on my TBL!

I jumped right into Sarah & Aiden’s story as soon as I finished listening to Wild Hearts and it was honestly one of the best listening experiences I’ve had in a while.
Sarah & Aiden’s story continued the feel-good vibe started by Val & Ryan and it made me feel so much happiness that I honestly thought I was just reading one long story! Kacey didn’t miss a beat with this small-town romance journey! GAH, all of my favorite things were wrapped up in this beautiful package! The story itself was very well developed. The reconnecting and developing of their relationship were very relatable and realistic. My heart broke and soared with these two but that rollercoaster was well worth it. I just cannot wait to dig deeper into this series!
About the narration … Samantha Brentmoor is one of my all-time favorite female narrators because she is always so versatile, and she makes me feel the characters deep to my bones. She is just perfection and I absolutely LOVE HER! I am becoming quite enamored with Robert Hatchet’s voice and I’m already on the hunt for more of his narrations!
