I have been a fan of Adriana Locke’s books for quite some time now, and I must say, I have yet to find something I dislike about her work. It’s almost as if I’ve been searching for flaws just for the sake of it, but I’ve come up empty-handed. With each new book she releases, she introduces us to captivating couples that we can’t help but fall in love with. It’s clear to me that Adriana Locke is truly one of the top authors out there.
Let’s dive back into the story! As a big fan of second chances, Laina and Luke’s journey really resonated with me. What I found so refreshing was that they didn’t hold onto any bitterness from their past breakup. Luke, in particular, won my heart when he offered his support when Laina needed it most. Their transition from exes to lovers felt natural and not rushed at all. It was as if they were meant to be together in every way.
One of the things I absolutely adored about this story was the lack of unnecessary drama. It was a refreshing change from other books I’ve read. And speaking of love, let me tell you how much I adore Luke’s family. They are just as captivating as the Landry family, giving them a run for their money in terms of charm and entertainment. I highly recommend this book and this series.
