This story was intense in more ways that one and I’m struggling to find the right words to put down in this review to be honest. Lou and TJ’s story started when they were both kids and the love only intensified over the years. But what happens when Lou has enough of waiting for TJ to give them a chance? TJ has loved Lou all his life. But his fears of not being able to love her like she deserves might make him lose her all together.
The danger he’s in might provide the answer to all his prayers. They’re (kinda) forced to spend time together and he’s taking his chance to prove to her that he’s done with being afraid and is ready to be all that she’ll ever need. But convincing her is not easy and I absolutely loved how the family helped even if at times it seemed like that wanted them apart.
This story was filled with funny banter (what do you expect when dealing with the Tagger family), an emotional and heartbreaking scene but the HEA will leave you with a big smile on your face. I can guarantee you that.
