This is my 3rd attempt to write down my thoughts about West and Nova. The first 2 were absolutely hate fest towards Nova. I’m not sure what triggered that response to be honest so I had to step away from it and sleep on it. Now with new clarity I can say that that anger towards her has diminished a little but it was still there. All West wanted was to be there for her. He was moving mountains and at the end she doubled him and that bothered me to no end. But she did come around quickly so I give her points for that.
Now let’s talk about West. All I wanted was to crawl into this story and give him the biggest hug and never let go. He does lose his mind for a short period but his love for her was never in question. The way he wanted to be better than his parents were should have been a clear sign how incredible he really was. Hopefully we’ll see them some more in the upcoming books.
