If there was ever a MC with Golden retriever energy they probably had River in mind. That man goes from 0 to 100 in a blink of an eye and I couldn’t decide if I wanted to slap or kiss him. He’s been trying to set Sutton up with his brother, but when she asks him to help her and he meets her mother, he jumps in head first.

But no. 1 rule when trying to be in a fake relationship is not to fall for your partner in crime and spending time with the shy (or is she) librarian opens up his eyes, that maybe she was his missing piece along. When she finally stands up to her mother, both will have to decide if feelings are there or is it time to move on.

I love how Claudia Burgoa writes stories that are read in a blink of an eye but they’re not rushed and you get to experience every emotion there is from beginning to end.
