Mine to Keep by Natasha Madison
A small town, single dad, age gap, forbidden work place romance
Southern Wedding #8
Release: January 5, 2024

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Grace
It wasn’t hard for me to walk away from my family without looking back—the time had come for me to live for myself.
New city. New job.
My new boss? He’s gorgeous.
It’s too bad that handsome face is wasted on such a condescending prick.
He hates me, and the feeling is mutual.
The only reason he may not be the literal devil is because he’s a devoted single dad, making it clear Caine is, in fact, capable of human emotion.
Caine
I’m good at two things:
1. Raising my daughter to be strong and independent.
2. My job.
When my new assistant walks into the office, I become good at ignoring her. She’s sassy. Smart. Beautiful.
Much younger and off-limits for more reasons than I can count.
That doesn’t mean I want her any less.
She hates me—but as each day goes by, it’s harder and harder to remember why I hate her too.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I just love good enemies to lovers trope. Throw in an age gap and a single parent and I’m a goner apparently. I’m (usually) not a big fan of age gap but Grace has something about her that you don’t see her as (too) young despite being only 24. She carries herself with head held up high, which is not a surprise considering her family. She gives as good as she gets and I absolutely loved the way she handled Caine.
Now let’s talk about Caine for a second. If you’ve read the previous book in the series I’m sure he’s piqued your interest. I was dying to see who the man that made Levi went crazy. And I was not disappointed. He comes off as gruff and stoic but has a heart of gold. His constant digs at her at the beginning was a tough pill to swallow but as said she stood her ground and soon they couldn’t keep hands off each other. The only thing I have a problem with this story is that Grandpa Casey is getting soft on me. I was expecting a lot more resisting and quite frankly threats to be issued the way these two started off (IFYKYN). In all seriousness i absolutely loved this from start to finish and couldn’t be happier with the HEA.

MEET THE AUTHOR: When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
