If you’ve been following the Carmichael clan you know that this is one crazy family. And we’ve finally come to see what the fuss is all about when thinking about mysterious Foxx. I want to say this book finally gave us more insight into the man, but we didn’t get that. But what we did get was him finally showing his one flaw and that is his feeling for his best friend’s sister.
Bianca has had a crush on Foxx for a long time. But he disappeared over night leaving her thinking it was all in her head. But danger has come to her doorstep and who better to keep her safe than Foxx. Forced to interact with each other, they’re finally able to come clean and confess their true feelings for one another.
I loved to see the whole Carmicheal clan back together again. This family is special and it is sad to see it end to be honest. Hopefully cameos are happening in the next Adriana’s books because it would be a travesty if they don’t. Especially Banks.
