But life has happened and she’s not the same girl she was back then. Agreeing to a fling has her seeing just what she missed on, but her own personal problems are hitting hard and she thinks that there is no future for them.

Mercer has loved Emily despite her breaking his heart. He wants to stay away but it proves impossible. What starts a holiday fling, opens his eyes to the future she denied them. And discovering her issues he needs to think long and hard before he can give or take from their relationship. But their love will overcome all the fears and right at the stroke of midnight, love wins once and for all.
