Reckless Games is a short spicy read for the holidays. This is not your typical holiday hallmark read. Although the story focuses on Adam and Lake, it also gives us somewhat of a glimpse into what we may see in Crews book. Crew is Adams brother. Crew was only mentioned in this book, but he was in the book The Lies We Tell and his book will be Heart Sick Hate coming in January.

I went in knowing this was a novella, but I didnt really care for how the insta-love went down. I didn’t feel that they were quite there. They for sure had a sexual connection, but I really didn’t feel the connection on an emotional level. I also didn’t care for Lake’s reactions. Her jealousy seemed premature and then when she confided in Stella after learning the truth she just seemed so immature. Also, she alluded to having another secret but we never learn what that was.

Overall it was a quick, easy, entertaining and steamy read.
