When I open my home to Knox in a pinch, it doesn’t take long for his proximity and charm to start breaking down my defenses. I can’t stay away, craving him more than I have anyone before.
Two things quickly become very clear. First, what we have runs deep—for both of us. Second, Knox is in danger, and someone’s out get him.
Now, not only do we have to worry about staying in Malcolm’s good graces, but we also have to watch our backs and keep our heads low.

Knox survives his home being burned down. Having nowhere to go he takes Gunnar’s offer to move in with him. Knox has been crazy about Gunnar for a long time. Since Gunnar is his brother’s best friend, he (according to his brother) isn’t available for a relationship. But Knox’s heart just doesn’t get the message.
Has some kink and a lot of spicy times. Both men were likable and seemed more fleshed out than previous characters. The mystery was okay but there was a disconnect for me with the “villain”. Not sure I’d call this insta-love but Gunnar did fall fast. I felt this book was a bit better than the others In the series.
This is the third book in Hunter Security. I think it can be read as a standalone.
