I shouldn’t be surprised at how much I loved everything about this new series. Book 1 has started off really strong and I’m here for all that’s to come.
I was hooked the second I started reading. I’m usually a fast reader but I was pacing myself with this one because I wanted it to last as long as possible. Both Rome and Emerson were easy to love. I loved Emerson despite being younger, she never made me feel it, if that makes sense. He was 10 years her senior and while that did give me pause, their relationship was paced in such pace I got over it really fast. The slow burn and angst was driving me crazy and I couldn’t wait for them to end up together and come “clean” to her brother.
From start to finish I was rooting for them and when all was laid out on the table I was extremely happy how everything and everyone help them to the HEA.
