Who knew Blaine had a soft heart under all that toughness we came to know and secretly love in previous books? I knew it would take a special kind of woman to capture his heart and boy was Reese perfect in every aspect. She didn’t let him get away with anything, stood her ground when needed and let him love her the only way he knew how. I also loved how he interacted with her sister Collette and helped them both work on their relationship while trying, and sometimes failing, not to push too hard. And in return both loved him with all his flaws.

I’ve been reading Melissa Foster book for a few years now and it blows my mind that she still manages to give us men and women to fall hard for with each book. Blaine and Reese come very high on my list of my favorite couples written by her.
