Thorns of Silence is book four in the Thorns of Omertà Series. This is a second chance, secret baby, Mafia romance focusing on Dante Leone and Phoenix Romero. Their story was mixed with violence, plot twists, stalking, lies, secrets, and love/hate drama. It was high in the angst, but low on the spice (low because there were minimal scenes). There may have been some Easter eggs of the supporting characters and who we may see in the future.
Overall I found this to be an entertaining and easy read. There is a ton of cross over from the Stolen Empire Trilogy, but it’s not necessary to read before hand. We also get some guest appearances from the Nikolaev’s. Dante and Sasha, being the craziest of all the mafia men Eva’s written about, were interesting to see go head to head. You’ll have read to find out who, if anyone, comes out on top between the two 😉.
